Qurbani / Udhiya

Qurbani / Udhiya

Eid-ul-Adha is the second of the Eid celebrations and celebrated on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah

It is highly recommended and encouraged that you should do your Qurbani yourself where you live. Sacrificing the animal, yourself ensures you follow the Sunnah and remember the real occasion and significance of the sacrifice.

However, there are countries where it is not possible to do the sacrifice and people send their money overseas for such purpose. There are also many who do the sacrifice from the same household so they prefer to do some of this for the poor and needy people in other countries. And there are people who wish to do more than one sacrifice so that they can assist the poor people on this occasion.

Every year, your Qurbani donations help provide quality meals to hundreds of families in need and living in poverty. Some of these families cannot afford meat and this is the only time in the year when they get some meat to enjoy with their families.

We organise Qurbani for the poor families in Pakistan, Fiji and India and Bangladesh.
